I-Spy • Motorcycles & Cycles

More curios for motoring enthusiasts, as this title is chock full of now largely vanished two (and three) wheeled machinery. From bubble cars to Invalid tricycles, dual control scooters and bicycles with side cars. Lots of now vintage British motorbikes too and a whole page of sidecars. “How exciting when you do see a cycle for three” explains Big Chief I-Spy (and repeats of The Goodies are not allowed).  This title first appeared in 1956 but was much updated for the 1961 edition; some illustrations were retained, others moved around and many replaced with newer subjects. The jazzy DWO cover illustration stayed, but for the update the scooter driver (a man in a flat cap!) was replaced by a women in a proper scooter helmet.
