Quite a late addition to the series for what might be thought a rather obvious subject to interest children of all ages. The contents remained unchanged through three editions (all illustrated on this page), and covered just about every type of domestic pet imaginable (except Dogs, which had their own title already). A few of the pets are today quite rare, including the larger macaws and the tortoise, while many of the monkeys would be hard to classify as pets even in the 1950s.
