Talking Heads, without a doubt my premier band from around 1978 to 1982 when they began to go off the rails in a welter of disagreements and overambition (not to mention marching powder). Their 1979 UK tour witnessed some of the most powerful four piece performances I ever saw from any band. I’ll dig out some of the black and white stuff eventually but here is one of just three colour negative frames I must have used up at the end of a roll…
