I Spy News Chronicle People and Places

A rather austere cover illustration (featuring a statue of General Haig) but a wide ranging title which would certainly get spotters looking. Each subject in the book has a specific example, but Redskins are encouraged to provide their own example to score the points. So for Tree we see the Major Oak, but points are available for any famous tree. The Castle is Caernarvon but again points given for any castle associated with a notable person.  There are Hiding Places, Historic Houses, statues of poets, painters, explorers and more. The title survived through to the final series of the illustrated books (and interestingly has been relaunched in the new Michelin series). It also marked the half-way point of the 6d series.
