I wasn’t a huge UFO fan but a mate wanted to have a few photos taken so I went along and quite enjoyed them. I had to sneak the camera in to the balcony, as you can see the crowd were going mad and there was no way to keep a camera steady in the stalls! This was the last tour they did with Michael Schenker on guitar, and these were taken at Sheffield City Hall in June 1978. I used to do my own film developing as work had a darkroom but a few of these are a bit dusty! I did get to see UFO again not too long back with Schenker and they were better than the headline act.
