Paice Ashton Lord were a big band formed by Deep Purple’s Jon Lord and Ian Paice in late 1976, teaming up with Tony Ashton (from Ashton Gardner and Dyke). Paul Martinez played bass, and Bernie Marsden came in on guitar. This issued one album in 1977 and did a short UK tour where these photographs were taken (at Birmingham Odeon). There are some colour shots and rare backstage material as well. Some images appeared on the 2012 PAL archive CD Live 1977. The band never toured again and split in 1978, with three of the band joining Whitesnake. We also have memorabilia, tickets, posters, etc.
