Whitesnake posters – 1

The rock band Whitesnake were formed by former Deep Purple vocalist David Coverdale in 1977 and quickly became massive in Europe. In 1984 the group took a radical change in direction and went for the MTV rock market, and ended up with one of the biggest selling rock albums of all time, 1987, which has sold over 8 million copies to date. Since then the group have been largely based in America, and revolve around lead singer David Coverdale.
The selection of rare Whitesnake posters covers their entire career, from the hand-drawn felt pen poster for their first tour, through dayglo posters for some of Britain’s best-loved concert halls, and on to shows round the world.
The low resolution images here are untreated. We also have an excellent collection of Whitesnake memorabilia and photographs, many of which have been seen in the 2011 Whitesnake Illustrated Biography. Click on the image to link through to the next gallery.
